Paul Steven Silva was born in Cambridge, Mass. to Juvenal and Wilhelmina da Silva. He died in San Luis Obispo at the age of 79.
After high school, he joined the U.S. Army and served in the 11th Airborne Division. After military service, he began work for the Southern California Gas Co. Paul co-founded the Gold Coast Chorus (San Luis Obispo Chapter) and directed it for many years.
He is dearly missed by his wife Sharon; children Terri, René, Barry, Jay and Paul; grandkids Justin, John, Katie, Natasha, Jake, Nicole, Derrick, Logan and Jordan; great grandkids Jayden, Linken, William and Alexander; and siblings Delores and Babe.
