LAS VEGAS, March 19, 2016 — Winner of the 2016 Far Western District High School Barbershop Quartet Contest is Soundsations from Orcutt Academy High School in Santa Maria, California, Dona Kintzi, Music Educator. Members are: Colin Alm, Tenor; David Genge, Lead; Chase Bradley, Baritone; and Mason Oakes, Bass.

The quartet sang I Don't Know Why and Driving Me Crazy for a total of 509 points. Judging the contest were The Newfangled Four (Joey Buss, Jackson Niebrigge, Ryan Wisniewski, and Jake Tickner) and American Pastime (Graham Pence, Tom Moore, Steve Pence, and Joe D'Amore); Kent Richardson and Rich Bruner were the Contest Administrators.
