FWD Spring Convention Arizona Division Convention Northeast & Northwest Division Convention

We have three terrific events lined up in the Far Western District this spring:

ALL THREE EVENTS will include:

Harmony Platoon

Members who join the 2020 Harmony Platoon will sing FIVE (5) great old barbershop charts in quartet competitions. For $25 you get a quality quartet experience that is challenging, exciting, fun, and memorable. Price includes charts and all four part-predominant tracks plus a full mix to each of the medium difficulty songs, plus an official color-coded Harmony Platoon Lanyard to help you locate the parts you need for you to sing these great songs all weekend!

Everyone in Harmony Chorus

Participation is open to anyone attending - whether you’re singing in another chorus or not! You just need to attend a single "rehearsal" on Saturday before the chorus contest begins, and perform on the contest stage first off as the "Mic" tester chorus.

Divisional High School Quartet Contest

High school aged barbershop quartets from Arizona, California, Hawaii, Nevada, and Utah are invited to compete in the annual Far Western District High School Quartet Contest. Five Division Champions will be crowned. The highest-scoring quartet from the five Division contests will be named the District Champion, and a cash prize awarded to their school. The contests will be open to all youth quartets - Men’s, Women’s or Mixed.

Divisional Chorus & Quartet Contests

All contests are open to Men's, Women's and Mixed groups.

THIS YEAR ONLY: In order to compete in the fall contests, all you need to do is register and compete at your division contest this spring. Unless you figure out a way to earn less that 1 point in division you are automatically qualified to compete in the Fall Contests at Sea! This is going to be such a fun event that we want EVERYONE to have an opportunity to participate.
