Teargas Towheads, 2018 CQC Champs Teargas Towheads, 2018 CQC Champs Judging Panel: Dan Jordan, Steve Katz, Martin Fredstrom

Another year in the books!

Tonight I had the honor of joining Martin Fredstrom and Steve Katz on the judging panel in Fullerton for the COMEDY QUARTET CONTEST.

This long-running contest was first started by the Palomar-Pacific chapter many years ago. So many entertaining quartets have taken home the unique perpetual trophy and the DON GALVIN plaque.

A few names you probably recognize are: THE VILLAINS, RASIIN' CANE, TORTILLA FLATS and now, tonight, TEARGAS TOWHEADS are the new champions. With an average score of 74, their sound and original Barbershoppers turned Zombies routine was the clear winner.

Do yourself a favor … support the Orange Chapter and enter a quartet in next years contest. Tell other barbershoppers about this event. Big kudos to MARK SHELDON for coordinating the event abd his crew for making the evening run smooth and fun.

Congratulations Orange Chapter … well done gentlemen!
